In case you weren’t already aware, February of each year is dedicated to Black History. It’s a chance to learn, grow, and acknowledge various people and events which have shaped our past. While some of those people and events are uncomfortable to learn about, we must. We must understand not only our past successes, but also our failures in order to prevent them from happening again. Growth is never easy, but we should all strive to be more open and more informed than we were the day before.
