Does Rebooting Your PC Fix Everything? Damn Near!

Computers are wonderful devices….when they work properly.  When they misbehave, they can be downright infuriating.  Did you know that a simple reboot can usually solve most PC issues?  (Bad neighbours and winter weather sadly need more than just a reboot to fix however.)

Instead of going off on a wild tangent of my own on the topic, I’m going to point you to an expert.  What makes him an expert you ask?  Well, he was responsible for working on the Windows Task Manager while he was an engineer at Microsoft.  So yeah……he’s an expert!

While there is a lot of information to digest here, Dave makes it’s pretty straight forward to understand.  If you don’t get all the buzz words or concepts though, that’s quite ok.  The key takeaway here is that when you have an issue with your PC (or really any electronic device such as a phone or tablet) the first thing you should do is a reboot.  Once the reboot is complete and your problem has been solved, claim your Junior IT Support Badge and carry on with your day.
